About this event

19 June 2026 18:45 - 22:30 Hunter Club Arts Centre

Brown & Blue

One of the UK’s top trumpet stylists salute two giants of jazz trumpet, Clifford Brown – the tragically short-lived “Bach of jazz” – and Blue Mitchell – the still under-rated star of Horace Silver’s Quintet and his own jazz, soul and funk recordings for Blue Note Records. With Chris Ingham (piano), Malcolm Creese (bass) and George Double (drums).

“A gorgeous tone, unflagging inspiration, stylistic cognizance at its most perceptive and enviably faultless chops”
– Jazz Rag
